During a 50 year career that began in the late ’40s, Bennett practically littered our cultural landscape with his work.
Think you’re not familiar with him? Don’t worry, you are.
Bennett's logo designs include the AT&T blue world, the United Airlines “U,” and the Minolta flash bulb. He's even better known for his ground-breaking film title sequences— the swirling eye of “Vertigo,” the eerie typography of “Psycho,” and the heaven and hell sequence in “Casino.”
In all, his work spans 50 years, 60 films and dozens of corporate projects, with his most famous achievement—the storyboards for Psycho’s shower scene— also being his most controversial.
