Mike Ruschak

Mike’s lifelong dream of being the next Michael Phelps didn’t pan out but he created some new dreams. A graduate of Penn State’s Pennsylvania College of Technology with a Bachelors of Science in Information Technology. Mike has a passion for all things technology especially the web and database side of things. He spends many late nights reading about or training in some new technology.

Before joining Martino Flynn Mike held the positions of head lifeguard, swim lessons instructor, and water fitness instructor at the YMCA. Mike also volunteered at the Strong National Museum of Play to help refresh an aging exhibit. Mike continues to work for the Maplewood YMCA today as a Swim Instructor and Lifeguard Instructor.

When not in front of the computer Mike is at the gym daily and enjoys swimming, weight lifting, and taking Yoga classes at the YMCA. In addition Mike enjoys movies, music, watching football, hanging with friends, foosball, playing Frisbee, and going to concerts.

An avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, Mike feels lucky to have lived to see the Steelers win the Super Bowl twice. Why in 2008 both the Penguins and the Steelers won championships. He doesn’t brag though. Mikes most treasured item is his terrible towel which is displayed proudly at his desk. Sometimes he runs around the office swinging the towel on the eve of a Steelers game.
