Matt Benjamin

Rumor has it that Matt obtained a degree in English and sometimes uses it at Martino Flynn as the company’s lone Proofreader and Production Assistant. After nearly 5 years in the legal publishing business, Matt came to Martino Flynn for the opportunity to work in the advertising field and the chance for his eyes to eventually become dependent on using reading glasses.

When not at work, Matt can usually be found at one of many softball fields in Monroe County. An avid player, he currently plays on 6 teams in 5 nights. Matt’s unnatural compulsion to play softball stems back from his inability to ever make it to the Major league or even Minor league levels in baseball. However, Matt proudly held a Junior College record for Hit By Pitches in a season (13 times in 26 games). During the winter months Matt can be found in goal for his back-to-back-to-back championship broomball team.

Matt’s tenacity for athletics has been curbed in recent months as he and his fiancé (Catie) are planning for their upcoming wedding. With all of that going on, he still is able to find time to play (win) a game or two of Scrabble against Catie and watch nearly every telecast of his beloved sports teams.
