The role of the Copywriter / Media Trainer is Ron Roberts' first appearance on the live agency stage. Sophisticated audiences may be familiar with his acclaimed television work in a recent Canandaigua National Bank commercial and earlier 1990's appearances as chief media spokesman for Eastman Kodak Company. His published written works date back to sports bylines in Rochester and Cleveland. To pass the time while awaiting his next stage or screen break, he writes speeches, scripts, stuff for print, teaches folks how to handle media interviews, consults on an array of PR matters, and drinks way too much coffee.
Ron's a longtime fan of the baseball Braves and of Syracuse University, although he has been warned by police to stay away from SU mascot Otto the Orange after writing letters threatening to "crush the fat little wimp." Unless you're really bored, don't ask him about his hole-in-one. ("See, the wind was up, so I hooded an eight-iron and...")
