The End

December 22nd, 2008 by Scott Wolf

A while back, a former MFer wrote about some of the all-time best typographic title sequences. Just the other day, I learned of this Flickr group pool in the same vein. But instead of title sequences, this was end sequences. Specifically, stills of “The End” at the close of classic films and cartoons. Some may be recognizable, and some less so. But either way, they’re interesting pieces of design history. Try and guess which films the following belong to:

#1

#2

#3

#4

#5

Answers to come in a follow-up post, or if you’re slightly impatient, email me.
