While the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) enjoys a global reputation for excellence in high-tech education, it’s not necessarily top-of-mind for adult learners considering a return to school—a demographic whose “lifestyle inertia” can be difficult to overcome for any institution. Martino Flynn helped change all that with an integrated campaign designed to communicate the benefits of continuing education at RIT, featuring compelling print ads, Web banners, emails, and radio spots. Their message of “Go Back, Leap Forward” helped drive click-through rates that were more than double the industry average, as well as a quadrupling of attendance at RIT’s debut information session.
