Rochester-based advertising and public relations agency Martino Flynn, LLC, ranked 37th among the nation’s PR firms, according to PR Week’s 2004 rankings, published in the April 19 edition.

The rankings include data from 203 US PR firms. Martino Flynn was the only Rochester-area firm in the top 50.

According to Julia Hood of PR Week, “the numbers seem to show that midsize firms, which are well represented in the tables, and particularly the specialists, have been able to complete aggressively in the downturn.” Only 13 of the top 50 firms reported declines, compared with about half last year.
