Rochester, N.Y., March 18, 2008—Martino Flynn, LLC, received Best of Broadcast recognition for its "Waging Battle" TV spot produced for Dick's Sporting Goods at the 17th Annual ADDY Awards ceremony on March 14. The agency also received two Citations of Excellence. Martino Flynn received the inaugural "Best of Broadcast" award at the event for its work with Dick's Sporting Goods. The "Waging Battle" TV spot kicked off the 2007 golf season for Dick's, letting golfers know in a dramatic way that Dick's had everything they needed to prepare for their year on the links. "It was great to be recognized for our strength in digital media services and post production with the Best of Broadcast award," said Kevin Flynn, partner, Martino Flynn. "The advertising community is full of incredible creative talent, and we are excited to be a part of it."
Martino Flynn also received two Citations for Excellence at the awards show. The first was for the creative packaging design of CooperVision's Biosoft contact lenses. Martino Flynn developed a design that was aesthetically pleasing, functional, and adaptable across a full line of products. The end result was a graceful and elegant design solution that clearly communicated a brand that is contemporary, fresh, and distinctive within the category.
The second citation was awarded to Martino Flynn for their work with the Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester's (BCCR) printed posters, "Art from the Heart". Martino Flynn and Xerox teamed up and donated garden-themed artwork, event posters, invitations, and save-the-date cards to promote BCCR's largest annual fundraiser, the ARTrageous Affair.
