This cost-per-click/Adwords campaign promoted MCC’s 2+2 Transfer Program by targeting competing schools’ names as search terms. The campaign generated more than 2.3 million impressions and 3,000+ click throughs.
We re-launched a search-optimized site for Mirror Show Management on 11/7/08. This site uses rich graphics and flash, and we were able to optimize the site for search engines without sacrificing the already-great user experience. Total visits per month climbed from 1,045 in November, to 1,198 in December, to 2,108 in January 2009. The percentage of visitors getting to the site from search engines climbed from 28% in November, to 44.7% in December, and still held strong at 40.1% in January 2009. This represents a 101% increase in site traffic within the first 3 months after our initial optimization.
